Hello My Faithful Readers...

Gossip Girl here, ready to dish out on the scandalous lives of the darling Southern Divas we've come to know and love over the past few months.

The girls have returned home! With great excitement from family and friends, they were welcomed back into the country. Their return was greatly anticipated and without dissappointment as hugs and stories were shared. Needless to say, it's good to have them back in the same country where I can keep a closer eye on them. (wink)

Spotted!

Lola, D, L, and C-Dawg having a small get together at Lola's house to exchange Christmas gifts and lots of laughter together. Lola was in a much happier mood now that her girls were all home and together once again. There were even sparkles in her eyes, or so I'm told. That's something we haven't seen in a while!

Yet another reason for the possible sparkle in Lola's eyes could be a certain someone she met while at Oplin before her friends returned home. Sources tell me that she spent the night dancing with him...and that numbers were exchanged at the end of the evening. Wonder what will become of this little adventure?

D having a heart-to-heart with Lonely Boy not too long after her return. Words were definitely exchanged and perhaps some hearts broken...not too sure on the details...yet.

Little K spending some quality time with Archemedes after her return and departure to Houston to visit some family. Of course, they had a great time, according to my sources. Perhaps there could still be something there...but what about Tarzan?

If I've said it once before, it bares repeating again. Men are dousche bags. Apparently while D was away, Lonely Boy became a little less...lonely. He broke the rules and got a girlfriend while still giving our girl false hope. Can you say idiot of the year? I sure enough can. Don't worry D, time will heal all. Even if it doesn't seem like it. And you've got your girls who have got your back no matter what! Can't kick him to the curb? Allow them to do the dirty work for you.

It never fails...men raise your hopes and then dash them all to pieces when you least suspect it. Allow Gossip Girl to mend your wounds with a little piece of advice. Chocolate, lots of kleenex, some good friends, and a chick flick where you can cry it all out. Once you've cried it out, then let the anger out through some seirous kickboxing. The End...Or So You Think

Hello My Faithful Readers...

Gossip Girl here, your one and only source into the scandalous lives of the gorgeous divas of Abilene. It's been some time since our last meeting, so let's review shall we?

Less than forty-eight hours stand between our dear friends and their return to the United States from their travels abroad. Needless to say there is excitement on all sides from their family, friends, and everyone who knows them. But the real question lies with the situations D and Little K left behind with Lonely Boy, Archimedes, respectively, and the new ones that have come about for Little K and L with Tarzan and Red Beard.

Lola going out on Friday night to the Grand 'Ol Oplin with a group of friends. I daresay that she had tons of fun. And sources tell me that she may have met someone while she was there and even shared a dance with him...I do believe phone numbers were exchanged at the end of the evening. Well done Lola, well done.

L, D, and Little K making their last minute preparations to return home, but packing sure is a pesky little thing. Hopefully they will have it all ready to go by the time they have to leave to return home...otherwise Houston, we have a problem!

Seems that not only are we getting three friends back, but losing one as well. C-Dawg is fast approaching her last days here in Texas before she returns home to Illinois for good. We all come to these decisions at some point in our lives, but it never makes them any easier to accept. The bonds of friendship between these girls is nothing like you've ever seen; solid and strong. So, for one to spread their wings and fly away is difficult on all of them. But, something tells me that this is not the end, but just the beginning of a new chapter in their lives.

Tis Gossip Girl again, here to spread a little holiday joy and cheer as it is the beginning of the season! Tons of gossip to spread with great joy.

We are on the official countdown. One week separates our friends from their return to the United States, their friends, and family that have missed them so dearly. I can honestly say that I'm looking forward to their imminent return as it poses the great potential for much more gossip on this front. And believe me, if there is gossip, I'm there.

L, D, and Little K entering the last phases of their abroad experience with finals! I wish you luck and may all your knowledge prove to be useful. Even while having fun, you've had to have learned something while abroad...

Lola taking a midnight run through her yard where there was snow...yes, I said it, SNOW on the ground in Texas. She was seen running barefoot and screaming happily. Didn't your mother ever tell you that you can get sick that way?

Soon everyone will be rocking around the Christmas tree and ho ho ho-ing their way into the holidays, where ample time is spent with the family and away from school and work. It's a time to come together and share traditions. And I shall share one of mine...gossip is my name and spreading it is my game. Even throughout the holidays, I will be spreading my good cheer for all to read and enjoy.

Speaking of good cheer and joy...word has it that Lonely Boy could be starting an attempt to win over D once again. Tsk tsk tsk...did we learn nothing over the last year and a half my darling. If at first you don't succeed, then die, die, die again.

Two Steps Forward...And One Step Back

Hello My Faithful Readers...

Gossip Girl here after a long weekend of fun, family, and resting up for the weeks to come in the future. Now I'm back and ready to dish all the gossip that I've been given recently as gossip never sleeps, not even on the holidays.

It seems that our friends' trip to the beach was a success...in more than one way. *wink* Little K seems to be mending well from her wounds inflicted by one Archemedes as she spent ample time with Tarzan on the beach, even teaching him a thing or two about body surfing. Hmm...wonder if there could be something in the air for these two?

All of our girls spending time horseback riding. It was an adventure to be had...or so I've heard from all the reports coming in. Apparently Little K had a lively horse as she took off down the beach in full force gallop. Well done Little K, well done.

Lola going into her last week of classes with no sense of drive. Chin up girl...just one more week of drudging classes, a week of finals and then you're home free! (And then you get a whole month off!)

C-Dawg doing a little shopping with her man...shopping of a particular kind. Let's just say that this boy liked it and is gonna put a ring on it in the future...we'll wait and see when...

With the semester coming to a close, I thought we'd do a little retrospect into all that we've learned throughout the past few months.

1. Never leave your best friend with a blog about gossip for four months to herself. It can be hazardous to your social health.

2. Leaving the country with unresolved relationship issues...well, we all know where that goes. No need to elaborate.

3. Living in another country for months can and will change you.

4. It is never a good idea to leave one girl to do all the plotting...she tends to go crazy with the details.

5. When a cop asks to ID you twice at the mall after he's already seen your ID once before...he's definitely hitting on you.

6. Taylor Lautner is the hottest thing alive. (Don't believe me...just watch New Moon)

Now that we've reviewed the past, let's look to the future shall we? The girls will be coming home soon, so things will settle in and get back to normal. Needless to say, Lola will be glad to have her sisters home. As for the rest...it will all fall into place when the time is right. You know what they say..."It'll all be okay in the end. And if it's not okay, it's not the end."

Turkey Day!

Hello My Faithful Readers...

Gossip Girl here, wishing you all a Happy Thanksgiving! (Well, day after Thanksgiving, but the thought still counts) And I must say that while the cat is away, the mice will play. I have a few little morsels left to dish before the end of the long separation of Little K, D, and L from their loved ones back here.

Seems as thought this week was full of family, fun, and tons of food. Everyone was gorging themselves on turkey and all the side dishes that go with that, even our little friends abroad had a small taste of home. Tis the season to count your blessings and say what you're thankful for. And I'm for sure thankful that I have much gossip to share and spread around. (As if that would ever die out!)

Lola not enduring the tradition known in America as Black Friday, where people get up at the crack of dawn for deals they may or may not get at the stores. Instead, she shared a lazy day at home with her brother and had a movie marathon. Good way to avoid the unneccessary crowds and danger of Black Friday shopping. Those people out there are crazy these days!

Little K, D, and L enjoying one last weekend away from Casa before they have to get ready to return to the good old United States in just under two weeks! Hopefully, there will be plenty to dish on later from these lovely ladies about their trip and two certain boys...perhaps Tarzan and Red Beard will be making a special guest appearance in later blogs...who knows?

Not much seen or heard from in the way of Archemedes or Lonley Boy recently, although they did go to lunch with Lola, Seattle, and a few others the Friday before Thankgiving Break. I wonder what they're up to now...those turkeys had better be thinking of a strategy if they want any hope of a future with our girls. (If not...I know some great guys that love turkey hunts and own shotguns. *wink*)

With the return of our friends imminent, one has to ask these crucial questions... What will happen once Little K returns and sees Archemedes for the first time in nearly four months? Will her affections for Tarzan over-rule those for Archemedes? Could there be something there for Red Beard and L? And what will become of it? What is going to happen once D and Lonely Boy are reunited? Will she finally give him the ultimatum or let things lie?

As someone wise once said..."Love is patient, love is kind, love is slowly losing your mind..." Take those words to heart ladies, because if you fall for the wrong one you're liable to lose your mind and your heart in the battle to survive. Remember, Rome was not built in a day but the walls sure came down pretty fast.

Hello My Faithful Readers...

Gossip Girl here once more. Word through the grapevine is that I haven't missed too much in this past week...but it's still my civil duty to give the people what they want, and that's gossip.

With the holidays just around the corner, everyone seems to be gearing up for family traditions and being together with the ones they love...well, almost everyone that is. Tis true, the darlings that are not in country will not be here for the holiday, but they are deeply missed by those who love them and will see them in just two short weeks.

Speaking of reunions...I wonder what is going to happen when our darlings do return home. Is this some ticking time bomb waiting to go off? Or will things easily transition like they never left? I guess we will have to wait and see.

Lola going around ACU's campus recently, looking rather exhausted. Could it have been that 18-page paper that she was seen working on for the past three days? Well, now she's on a well-deserved break. A little birdie also tells me that she is under the weather yet again. Poor Lola. Can she ever catch a break?

C-Dawg headed home for the Thanksgiving holiday to see her family and her man. Wonder what adventures will happen while she's away?

All These Woes Shall Serve For Sweet Discourses In Our Time To Come

Hello My Faithful Readers...

Gossip Girl here. It's been a busy week in everyone's lives it seems, so there is much to catch up on and I shall undertake that task oh so willingly. After all, it is my job to keep the masses informed on all the happenings.

It is finally here, the countdown until our beloved friends return home from their travels abroad. Tis the end of one journey and the beginning of another. There will be things to do, people to see, and memories not to forget. And I will be there to report all the delicious details.

Lola finally taking joy in seeing the film "New Moon" with a couple of her friends Friday evening. I'm not gonna lie...that werewolf kid is one hottie! We can all take comfort in the fact that there is no disappointment there. The film was well-received and enjoyed, even by me.

Little K, D, and even Tarzan hitting up the beach not once but twice within the last week, taking in their last rays of sunshine before coming home to the bleak and dreary winter that has set in here in the States, including dear old Abilene. The weather may be growing colder, but the gossip is definitely heating up.

Take It Away...Take It All

Hello My Faithful Readers...

Gossip Girl here, putting a disclaimer on this post right at the beginning. These are not my words. One of your very own has sent in something she wishes to be heard and I feel an obligation to let her speak. So this will be an unusual post of sorts. But here are the words of one of your very own...

From The Journal of Lola...

This semester has been the hardest of my entire life, not only because my friends aren't here, but because everything seems to be pulled out from under me again. I don't think I've ever felt more distant from God than I do right now. It's breaking my heart to see so many of my friends hurting and my family falling to pieces on one side. Everything about this semester I've hated with the exception of spending more time with the few friends that did not study abroad. I haven't made an effort at all honestly to let God speak to me because I've been so angry through most of this semester.

The only joy I've had was when my brother came home from Basic Training in October. I cried when I saw him because I was so happy to see him. My brother is a soldier and I'm so very proud of him because I love him to pieces. I'm working toward not allowing this generation of my family become like the previous where they fight constantly and hurt each other for no reason other than their selfish hate.

Most recently, my tickets for the "New Moon" premiere were stolen right at school. I go to a Christian school for crying out loud where it's expected that we will treat each other with at least the very human decency we're entitled to. For someone to steal that from me and take that one thing that I've been looking forward to all semester...that's a new kind of low. I am trying not to dampen my faith in others, but that is difficult when I've seen so much of that kind of hatred my entire life from family and people that were supposed to be my brothers and sisters in Christ both now and within the last few years. Sometimes it hurts more to know that someone can be so mean and cruel to someone they don't even know.

This semester has been about trying to find myself, but I just find that I'm more lost than I was to begin with. I struggle with trying to fill the space that's been created by the void that exists in my heart from all the years of abuse. Healing isn't easy. I just hope that I can find that childlike faith that used to exist when I was younger. Until then, I don't know what I'm doing anymore. I'm scared. Frustrated. Unsure. Lost. All I do know is that I want this pain to go away. I need it to be taken from me because I can't handle it anymore.

Jump Then Fall

Hello My Faithful Readers...

Gossip Girl here. And it seems that I have some tid bits to dish out on the latest gossip that has risen to the surface.

Seems as thought Lola is struggling a lot more than she thought she would. With the passing of a loved one, she has been rarely seen or heard from. A slight case of depression? Perhaps its something more weighing on her heart?

Lola isn't the only one feeling the bitter sting that comes from emotional distress. Seems as though C-Dawg has been through the wringer a bit as of late. Could this be because of her decision to make the move from Texas back home? I'll keep you posted...

Those girls down in South America, hitting up the beach recently where it was all wind, sun, and the gorgeous waves of the ocean. They say jealousy is not a good thing to let in...but I do have to say that I am quite jealous.

Lola spending half the night under the canopy of stars with some fun-loving friends. But Lola was more or less lost in her own thoughts...or so we've heard. Wonder what was on her mind or more specifically...her heart?

With the return of our darling friends becoming ever so imminent, one has to wonder what exactly will happen once they return from their travels abroad? We all know that there are issues to be sorted, people to see, and conversations to be had between all of the girls and their beloved ones back home.

Flightless Bird, American Mouth

Hello My Faithful Readers...

Gossip girl here...yet again up to my old tricks of keeping up with the latest and greatest our lovely ladies have to dish for us in gossip, news, and all other things...

It seems that love could be in the air for more than one of our darling divas. Word has it that L has recently begun to take notice and interest in one named Redbeard...hmmm...one can only ask if this will become something a little more in the future. We shall see. Time tells everything.

And on the home front, it seems that the world has begun to spin very slowly...making time drag on it seems. Lola is getting very impatient to have her dear ones home again. Whoever said patience was a virtue obviously did not know it is rather difficult to have friends who are gone for four months. Hang in there girl.

L spending some quality time with one Redbeard. Things are definitely heating up down there if I do say so myself...just be careful girl and don't let it burn you!

Lola making a b-line to exit Moody Coliseum. I don't think I've seen anyone get out of there that fast in my entire life. Wonder what in the world she was running from? More specifically...who?

C-Dawg and Lola spending some quality girl time together last weekend. Dinner, movie, and puppy chow...all the perfect combination for a great night! Wonder what else they talked about while they were cooking?

It seems that L isn't the only one finding love while abroad. Little K has found a replacement in her heart for Archemedes. His name? Tarzan. And his game? Apparently spending a lot of time with Little K. One has to ask...what is it that she is really doing?

No much to be seen or heard from the lovely D as of late. Her heart is pining away for home and all that it entails...especially one Lonely Boy. But my question is, what is Lonely Boy doing in the mean time to win her heart? Is he planning something special for her return or is he going to let things lie the way they always have been? This girl knows patience is a virtue, but there always comes a point when you have to let things go...

Take A Breath

Hello My Faithful Readers...

Gossip Girl here...after an extended hiatus it seems, but alas gossip never sleeps. So, I shall inform you of all the happenings as of late.

We are on the official countdown now...just 2 weeks separate the world from the most wonderful thing in the world...New Moon! And yes, yours truly, will be at said premiere where all the beautiful people are. *wink wink*

And what of our darling friends in South America? They were last spotted on some excursion or another through several countries...not that Lola would know. She's been stuck here for the duration of this semester.

Lola spending some quality time with her brother, who has come home from the life of a new soldier. Congratulations to him...we need a few more men like him in this country as it seems to be going down the tubes fast...but that's just Gossip Girl's opinion.

Archemedes and Lola striking up a conversation during lunch last week and then again at the mall. Seems that he's a pretty decent guy in her mind...perhaps there is still hope for Little K to work things out with him.

Life has resumed some normalcy it seems...for everyone else that is. Poor Lola, it seems that at every turn something knocks her down. Her world was shook at the death of a family member this week and the possibility of losing another one. My deepest condolances sweetie...keep your chin up, it'll get better.

As the year comes to a close, one has to wonder what will happen upon D's return. Will she let Lonely Boy back into her heart without so much as a second thought? Or will she be brave and give him the ultimatum that we all know he needs to have put upon him. My advice...take a deep breath and make that plunge, wherever it may take you. You've got your girls to back you up no matter the outcome.

We all make plans for the future, but none of us live in the moment anymore. We set plans, look to the future...but we forget that life happens right now. Not after school. Not after careers get started. Right now. Did you say it? "I love you. I don't ever want to live without you. You changed my life." Did you say it? Make a plan. Set a goal. Work toward it, but every now and then, look around; Drink it in 'cause this is it. It might all be gone tomorrow.

Satellite Heart

Hello My Faithful Readers...

Gossip Girl here with yet another update on the lives of our fabulous girls in South America and here in the States.

Seems that a bout of homesickness has hit our lovely ladies...making them yearn for the things they left behind. Well, not only for the things they left behind, but the people as well. Word has it that D is definitely pining for Lonley Boy's company and warm embrace. I guess distance does make the heart grow fonder....

Back in the good old U.S of A...it seems that Lola is quite under the weather as of late. She was last out at the local pharmacy retrieving the miracle medicine to cure her ailing body. Let's hope she gets well soon because gossip does not sleep!

Lonley Boy striking up a conversation with Georgie within the last few days. Apparently their topic of conversation was not the weather, but a certain someone who was unaware of their conversation over 1000 miles away. Guess he does miss her after all...way to show it to her, you dunce!

Little K, D, and L going on an adventure to Brazil last week. Heard it was tons of fun, but I guess it's better to do rather than just hear about it. Le sigh. There is only so much Gossip Girl can do and still be on top of the world's gossip.

It seems as though things are more serious than we originially thought between C-Dawg and her current love. Seems that we have a bunch of satellite hearts hanging around here...everyone's love is somewhere that they are not.

If I were any of you, which I'm not, I would get my rear in gear and put a claim on my man before anyone else does. You may be a satellite heart right now, but that doesn't mean you're completely out of orbit from his world. Now step to and make sure he knows you mean business! Direct orders from Gossip Girl.

Wake Up Call

Hello My Faithful Readers...

Gossip Girl here and at your service. A little time has passed since my last post, so let's recap what's happened shall we?

It seems that L doesn't have the clean record we all thought. Now I'm here to break her Gossip Girl blog virginity! It seems that L has gone on a date while abroad. Well, well, well it seems that being in a different country does make things happen...maybe I should find my private jet and get on that right away.

Word has also reached my ever sensitive ears that C-Dawg has decided to take flight earlier than expected, making her move in December rather than May of next year like it was thought to be. I do believe that was the fastest thing I've ever seen, even over Michael Phelps competing in the Olympics.

Lola and C-Dawg running around the mall, even stopping to get C-Dawg a new hair color. New hair color? Decision for a new environment? All this new stuff is insane!

D, Little K, and L were last seen setting off for the country of Brazil. Oh the places you will go and the things you will see while abroad. Well, not all of us can go...

A word to the wise...if he's not buying you flowers or doing sweet things...if he's not driving you anywhere but insane...maybe he needs a wake up call. It doesn't have to be roses and perfect dates, but for pete's sake guys, take the girl out every once in a while to show her that you actually care. A little committment would be nice too.

Sure we can't all have Edward Cullen or Prince Charming, but we can have our own versions of them. And for those who are Team Jacob, there are those guys out there too. Just keep looking and I'm sure one is bound to pop up sooner or later.

Single Ladies...

Hello My Faithful Readers...

Gossip Girl, back and ready to dish on the lives of the priveledged and fabulous that we have come to love and adore.

It has come to my attention that while abroad, our fiesty little friends have become...well a little more impatient with their darling counterparts that were left here in the states. Something tells me that Little K and D aren't going to be so forgiving once they return. You know what they say...if ya like it then ya should've put a ring on it...no pressure there boys.

Seems like they aren't the only ones becoming a tad impatient in this never ending game of cat and mouse. Patience was never a virtue that Lola handled well and for all arguements sake, a girl can only wait so long for her knight in shining armor to appear before she gives up hope. Poor Lola...will she ever find true love?

Lola headed back to the homeland for a weekend getaway. But, one has to wonder...what exactly was she getting away from? Careful little one...you can only run so far before things start to catch up with you.

L, D, and Little K back safely to the folds of Montevideo after an excursion in Argentina. After the exhaustion set in, it was back to classes and work right away for them. Don't worry girls...the work will only last for so long.

It seems that not everyone has a squeaky clean record in our midst. L has not been the subject of my blog in quite some time...I wonder why that is? Perhaps there is more there than meets the eye and I need to find out what that is. *wink*

While the temperatures in the states are cooling down in time for the fall weather, things are beginning to get heated up in the department of deportation. Seems like our girls weren't the only ones to take flight to new uncharted lands...C-Dawg is on the brink of one of the biggest decisions and I can only think of one question: to move or not to move? Time will only tell.

It's Magic...You Knoooow...

Hello My Faithful Readers...

Gossip Girl here after an extended leave of absence. Not all of us can be jet-setting beauties. Some of us actually have to stay here and keep an eye on things while keeping up with their own lives...

Word has it that our funny little friends were country hopping this weekend. As if going to Uruguay wasn't enough...they had to venture to Argentina as well. Looks as though they're determined to see all they can.

And yet another birthday has passed upon us...that is our very own Little K's 20th. Oh to the days in between when you're no longer a teenager but not legal to do other things...at least in the states...

Sparky putting on a massive show of P.D.A. with his current crush. (Although it was mostly unreciprocated.) And that's exactly what Miss Lola is...Pretty Dang Angry.

C-Dawg making a trek for home this past weekend...home to the land of where the boyfriend lives that is. I've heard it was quite the trip, but as most weekend getaways are...too short in the world of romance.

It seems all is well in the friend world of Lola and Jake. Amends were made and a firm constitution of friendship was established. New rules and regulations are just the thing to start anew.

I've caught wind that there might be a slight rekindling of the romance between Little K and Archemedes. Apparently he did remember her birthday and made a special something just for her that took time, effort, and a little intuitive thought. Perhaps there is hope...

Too Late To Apologize...It's Too Late

Hello My Faithful Readers...

Tis Gossip Girl. And I'm here to warn you that this blog is not going to be pretty at all...at least in the sense that someone could get very hurt. So be forwarned and proceed with caution...if you dare.

Seems that it didn't take long for Little K to get over Archemedes. Word has it that she has a new love already...can you say rebound? I haven't seen it happen that fast since Britney Spears annulled her first marriage of less than fifty-four hours. Careful Little K. Sometimes these things can come back and bite you in the rear if you don't watch out.

On that same token, Archemedes better watch out himself. If he had any hope of winning Little K's heart, his actions have definitely done nothing but push her away and break her heart. It might be too late to apologize, too late....

Lola, waving a white flag in one hand and holding her heart in another as she sets out to forgive Jake. Word has it that the friendship was rekindled and that harsh feelings were put aside. Maybe things can be worked out in the end for the better...who knows? Maybe for some it isn't too late to apologize.

No recent sightings of Lonely Boy as far as thee I can see. Is he hiding out? Maybe he's secretly counting the days until D returns to his loving arms. I guess we will have to wait to see what happens come December.

Dearly Beloved, We Gather Here Today...

Gossip Girl at your service. And yes, I do have some fantastic gossip to share...as per usual. As if I didn't ever not have gossip? Now that would be the day to mark...

I have some heart-wrenching news to share. It seems that we have to say goodbye to dear Archemedes. Word has it that he will be shipping back to Houston at the end of this semester, right as Little K is returning to the country. But will there be tears for the dearly departed? I guess we'll have to wait and see when Little K returns...

Along with that news comes the knowledge that Lola has learned very well this past weekend. You may be able to teach a dog some new tricks, but you can't teach men to be less visual. Sparky very clearly demonstrated that. But cheer up Lola, there's always another fish in the sea...so they say.

Gossip Girl here at your beck and call. Seems that I have an influx of information to update everyone on as of late. But fear not...I am not falling down on the job!

Seems as though Archemedes might have a little more competition than he bargained for in winning Little K's heart. Seems that she has found another man while she's been away and this one has her complete attention. This could be getting serious. Archemedes better hop to it if he wants to win his fair lady's heart.

Even D has begun to lose her patience with Lonely Boy. We all know D to be one of the most patient of girls, but everyone's got a limit. Just how far can she stretch it before she gives up completely on him?

D, L, and Little K seen taking a few side trips down in South America. The sights looked fun and the company entertaining, but I still say there is no place like home. Speaking of homesickness, it seems that C-Dawg will be making a trek to her home to see her man in the near future. I am curious to see what lies in store for her once she takes off on that jet plane.

Weekend Adventure

Hello My Faithful Readers...

Gossip Girl here after a bit of a hiatus. You West Texans aren't the only ones who are busy with life and other things. I've been quite busy myself as of late.

This past weekend was full of bustling activity for everyone it seems. Lola abandoned ship to head out into the middle of nowhere-and we mean the middle of nowhere! To a place beyond phone and internet reception. Lucky for you readers, I had my own little set of eyes and ears there keeping tabs on things.

Apparently she wasn't the only on there either. Lonely Boy and Archemedes were both there among the crowds spending the weekend away from civilization. Seems like it was an eventful weekend for all.

Lonely Boy being somewhat of a loner throughout the weekend festivities. Although...he was seen playing a pick-up game of soccer. Wonder exactly whom he was thinking of then? Guess he kinda does have a soft spot in his heart for D.

Archemedes, however, seemed to be on the other end of the social spectrum as he wandered from group to group all weekend. Word has it he also MC-ed the annual talent show...who knew he was so talented? Better reel this one in Little K, guys like that are one in a million.

Lola was even seen spending a few moments here and there with Bug. However, it seems that her attention was turned on someone else as she hung out with him from time to time...

It seems that we have a three-way tie for Lola's attention. But who are the three contenders, you ask? Well there is definitely Bug and Sparky, but what of this new man? All I know is that Lola better watch out...any one of these three could be nabbed right out from under her nose.

It seems that Archemedes might actually have some competition for Little K's heart. Word on the street is that there is this new guy competing for rights to her heart and Archemedes hasn't even realized it yet. Wonder what will happen?

Lola running around the city of Abilene late into the night a few days ago. Sources tell me that it was quite a night as she was celebrating her twenty-first birthday. Hope none of those videos make it to my blog...those could be quite embarrassing in the wrong hands...

L, Little K, and D going to watch some soc...I mean futbol, as they call it down in South America. I heard the game was a 3-1 win in the favor of their team. Hmm...wonder if they picked up any cute players? Do bring some with you girls. The more, the merrier.

Sweet Pea and Carrot...literally EVERYWHERE in the last few days. They were constantly together the last few times they were seen. Seems like those two are never apart. Wonder where that's going?

When you are two worlds apart, what can you do to keep the fondness of the heart? They say that distance makes the heart grow fonder, but is that really the case with D and Lonely Boy? As of late, I've been sensing that things are beginning to get a little...cold.

I Love You Forever, Forever Is Over

Gossip Girl once again. It's been quite a week and let me tell you...I'm very exhausted after keeping up with everyone! It's been absolutely marvelous for gossip though. (wink)

Seems like the weeks are carrying on nicely for our beloved chicas that are out of country. They are getting along fabulously with the culture and experiences in South America. As if anyone couldn't love these girls?

D, Little K, and L still going strong in South America. They're experiencing life to the fullest down there apparently. I wish I could jet set off to another country for a whole semester...oh wait, I'm Gossip Girl so I can.

Lola and Sparky seen dancing in the middle of Shotwell stadium in front of thousands of screaming fans. Apparently the dance feature was a hit and everyone loved it! And they say dancing is a bad thing?

Speaking of the girls that are currently out of the country...what about the boys left behind? How are they faring you ask? Well, it appears that Archemedes is doing alright. He has been fairly social as of late. And what does Little K think of all this...well, she's definitely not a fan from what I've heard in recent days.

Lonely Boy still semi-moping about, but seems to have some of his old spark back as he bantered with Georgie and Lola just the other night. Sarcasm is a smoking gun for him...better watch out for that razor sharp tongue of his. I wonder how D handles that on a daily basis?

Hello My Faithful Readers...

It's Gossip Girl again. Here to tell you the latest and greatest news in the lives of the beautiful Texan girls that seem to pop up on my radar quite a bit.

I sense a scandal brewing in the midst of all the hussle and bustle of the fall season nearing. Something tells me that our girls' "damsel in distress" persona will soon wear off once they have adjusted to their new surroundings. Perhaps one of the local boys will catch their eye...better watch out Lonely Boy and Archemedes. You could just as easily be dethroned as the main men in D and Little K's hearts. It would be like last season's Prada...just cast aside for the new season. Or will it? I'm curious to find out.

It seems that we have a very special occasion to celebrate...C-Dawg and Lola's twenty-first birthday is upon us. And anyone will tell you that the twenty-first birthday is one of the most special birthdays in a girl's life, right behind her sixteenth. Sure there will be cake, candles, and fun to be had...one must not forget the fundamental rule of birthdays...it only comes once a year! So, live it up and party it down girls because after twenty-one you'll want to turn back the clock to seventeen once again.

When You Are Near Me

Gossip Girl again. And boy do I have a doozy to update on. Whoever said that Rome wasn't built in a day never set loose the Southern Girls. They could talk it into existence in less than an hour!

I have it on my best authority that the boys are back! And by back, I mean in full-force. These boys are absolutely relentless when it comes to keeping the ladies' hearts. It seems they are more than hell-bent on not losing the ones they adore. Keep it coming boys because three months is more than enough time to let the fire die, so if you're that determined then prove it.

Little K, D, and L taking some fast-track adventures through the city streets of Montevideo. There was lots to see, tons to do, and even more left to explore. But hey, three months should be plenty of time to investigate all the wonders of South America right?

Yours truly, lounging about under the bright sunshine. I may be Gossip Girl, but my tan isn't going to keep up itself and I'm not one for those icky tanning salons. Skin cancer is not really my thing.

Well well well, tis the season for starcrossed romances and long-distance relationships. So far, it seems that D and Lonely Boy have kept up their passion from afar. Even though internet isn't the most condusive method of dating, it seems to be working for them thus far. (Although they aren't technically "dating" but who really does now days?)

Speaking of long-distance relationships, C-Dawg and Boo are definitely making things work as she studies in Texas while he remains in the North. Could this be the makings of a true relationship, unlike any we've ever seen in the realm of C-Dawg's world? I daresay that it could be.

As for the rest of us? We'll just have to wait and see if the season brings a little romance our way. And I'll be there to dish it all.

The Love Bug?

Hello My Faithful Readers...

Gossip Girl here...and I just had some news that was too good not to share! (Even though all gossip is good gossip in my book, but who's judging whom?) Besides, who doesn't love hearing from me for all the latest?

It seems that we have a little love Bug in our midst, but the question everyone is asking is who? Of course it is privy information to those who are in on that party, but I will be finding out as soon as possible so that I can spill the news to everyone. But word on the street is that he is a real looker. (Oops...did I leak too much already?)

No sight of Archemedes since the departure of Little K. I wonder if he's hiding out because he misses his darling love? What would make him drop from the radar so quickly? Perhaps there is something there that we don't see...

Bug last seen stopping outside of the Administration Building with a certain someone. The conversation seemed sweet...or so I've heard. Is it just a blooming friendship or something a little more? Let's just hope he isn't one to make good girls go bad...but even so, it could all be good.

The love bug seems to have bitten everyone as of late...well almost everone. But don't fear those who are still single. Good things come to those who wait. But whoever said patience was a virtue obviously never had to wait on anything.

As for the futures of Little K, D, and L...only time will tell. If fortune smiles on them, perhaps their boys will become men and take that step in the right direction. Or perhaps one will drift in their direction that will sweep them off their feet.

One thing is for certain though...these boys have a long way to go before their ladies return home. Will they be ready for the test that the girls are cetain to put them to upon return? It's been quite a few days since our friends have departed for the country of South America, but what new adventures did a new surrounding bring? Apparently there is a process to getting used to living in a new country...oh girls, will you ever learn to adjust? We shall see.

Lonely Boy wandering around ACU looking a little...well, lost to say the least. He certainly is living up to his name. Could it be that he's just realized what he's lost a little too late? Perhaps there is hope for the future after all D. They say absence makes the heart grow fonder.

The students of ACU gathering for a night of entertainment and sports; however, their efforts were thwarted for a good hour after a mini-hurricane hit the small town of Abilene. No injuries to report, but the spirit definitely wasn't dampened with the summer downpour.

It seems like we have a new man on the radar and his name is Boo. Who is he? Well, I'll tell you. It seems that he is C-Dawg's boyfriend. Those two are getting close by the minute. If ever there were two more close...it's them. They're closer than a pair of siamese twins.

And with all this love in the air, who is to say that absence doesn't make the heart grow fonder? Lonely Boy sure seems to demonstrate that as of late. Without D's presence, it seems like a light in his life seems to have gone dim for the time being. The next three months will be the testing factor in his willingness to go the distance for one girl. We'll see if he's ready to pass in December. Until then, I'll be keeping a very close eye on him...

Bon Voyage

Hello My Faithful Readers...

Gossip Girl here. And man has it been one heck of a week in the lives of our lovely ladies and gentlemen. Seems like the gossip never sleeps...good thing I don't either.

D, Little K, and L have jet-setted for a different climate and country...South America to be exact. Here is where they will be spending the next three and a half months away from home, family, loved ones, and yours truly. But alas, just because they are in a different country doesn't mean that my ears don't stretch that far.

While they are away, the rest of us will just have to make due without their lovely faces. How will we ever survive without them here to entertain us? I'm sure we'll make due with more gossip surounding the ones left behind...I know I will.

Lonely Boy making one last appearance before D took off. And we all thought chivalry was dead? Apparently not as he came just to bid his fair lady goodbye for the long three months. I feel a little urge to shed a tear for the dearly departed lovers.

Gossip girl here. Ready and more than willing to give you the latest in gossip, scandal, and all that lies in between. (Which we all know is a good bit considering all the gray areas of life) It seems that while I'm away, the little darlings were all at play.

I guess there can be switch-ups without warning in this delightful little social circle. Seems to me that Little K has a new beau in sight...at least that's what my sources tell me. His name is CBass and his game is flirting; heavy flirting if my intuition is correct, which it always is. Does Archemedes know he's got a little competition? A healthy dose of rivalry never hurt anyone, now did it?

A Bittersweet Goodbye

Gossip Girl here yet again. It seems that our little darlings have been busy while I was getting ready to start the new school year.

Little K and Archemedes seem to be getting closer each time they are together. I wonder what this will mean when Little K takes off for a whole new world? But you can bet your bottom dollar that I will be there to dish all of the details from their desperate lonliness to their chat exchanges on the internet. Let's hope that this will last.

Even D seems to be making progress in the department of Lonely Boy. But is this a lost cause with her leaving in just a few short days? Can the romance be kept kindled during the months she is gone? We will definitely see come winter when D jet sets back to the land of milk and honey known as Texas.

Back To School...Back For Gossip
