Hello My Faithful Readers...

Gossip Girl again. And boy do I have a doozy to update on. Whoever said that Rome wasn't built in a day never set loose the Southern Girls. They could talk it into existence in less than an hour!

I have it on my best authority that the boys are back! And by back, I mean in full-force. These boys are absolutely relentless when it comes to keeping the ladies' hearts. It seems they are more than hell-bent on not losing the ones they adore. Keep it coming boys because three months is more than enough time to let the fire die, so if you're that determined then prove it.

D looking a little Lonely herself down in South America. Amidst all the adventure and excitement, she still paused to sigh a little sigh for the one she left behind. Talk about separation anxiety...

Little K, D, and L taking some fast-track adventures through the city streets of Montevideo. There was lots to see, tons to do, and even more left to explore. But hey, three months should be plenty of time to investigate all the wonders of South America right?

Yours truly, lounging about under the bright sunshine. I may be Gossip Girl, but my tan isn't going to keep up itself and I'm not one for those icky tanning salons. Skin cancer is not really my thing.

Well well well, tis the season for starcrossed romances and long-distance relationships. So far, it seems that D and Lonely Boy have kept up their passion from afar. Even though internet isn't the most condusive method of dating, it seems to be working for them thus far. (Although they aren't technically "dating" but who really does now days?)

Speaking of long-distance relationships, C-Dawg and Boo are definitely making things work as she studies in Texas while he remains in the North. Could this be the makings of a true relationship, unlike any we've ever seen in the realm of C-Dawg's world? I daresay that it could be.

As for the rest of us? We'll just have to wait and see if the season brings a little romance our way. And I'll be there to dish it all.

The Love Bug?

Hello My Faithful Readers...

Gossip Girl here...and I just had some news that was too good not to share! (Even though all gossip is good gossip in my book, but who's judging whom?) Besides, who doesn't love hearing from me for all the latest?

It seems that we have a little love Bug in our midst, but the question everyone is asking is who? Of course it is privy information to those who are in on that party, but I will be finding out as soon as possible so that I can spill the news to everyone. But word on the street is that he is a real looker. (Oops...did I leak too much already?)

No sight of Archemedes since the departure of Little K. I wonder if he's hiding out because he misses his darling love? What would make him drop from the radar so quickly? Perhaps there is something there that we don't see...

Bug last seen stopping outside of the Administration Building with a certain someone. The conversation seemed sweet...or so I've heard. Is it just a blooming friendship or something a little more? Let's just hope he isn't one to make good girls go bad...but even so, it could all be good.

The love bug seems to have bitten everyone as of late...well almost everone. But don't fear those who are still single. Good things come to those who wait. But whoever said patience was a virtue obviously never had to wait on anything.

As for the futures of Little K, D, and L...only time will tell. If fortune smiles on them, perhaps their boys will become men and take that step in the right direction. Or perhaps one will drift in their direction that will sweep them off their feet.

One thing is for certain though...these boys have a long way to go before their ladies return home. Will they be ready for the test that the girls are cetain to put them to upon return? These girls aren't your average Texans...they're special and deserve the best. But they can rest assured that someday one will come along and be their Knight in Shining Armor (or maybe Armani?)

Scandalous!

Hello My Faithful Readers...

Gossip Girl here, ready to dish on all the latest scandals and privy information about the best and most priveledged of Abilene.

It's been quite a few days since our friends have departed for the country of South America, but what new adventures did a new surrounding bring? Apparently there is a process to getting used to living in a new country...oh girls, will you ever learn to adjust? We shall see.

Lonely Boy wandering around ACU looking a little...well, lost to say the least. He certainly is living up to his name. Could it be that he's just realized what he's lost a little too late? Perhaps there is hope for the future after all D. They say absence makes the heart grow fonder.

The students of ACU gathering for a night of entertainment and sports; however, their efforts were thwarted for a good hour after a mini-hurricane hit the small town of Abilene. No injuries to report, but the spirit definitely wasn't dampened with the summer downpour.

It seems like we have a new man on the radar and his name is Boo. Who is he? Well, I'll tell you. It seems that he is C-Dawg's boyfriend. Those two are getting close by the minute. If ever there were two more close...it's them. They're closer than a pair of siamese twins.

And with all this love in the air, who is to say that absence doesn't make the heart grow fonder? Lonely Boy sure seems to demonstrate that as of late. Without D's presence, it seems like a light in his life seems to have gone dim for the time being. The next three months will be the testing factor in his willingness to go the distance for one girl. We'll see if he's ready to pass in December. Until then, I'll be keeping a very close eye on him...

Bon Voyage

Hello My Faithful Readers...

Gossip Girl here. And man has it been one heck of a week in the lives of our lovely ladies and gentlemen. Seems like the gossip never sleeps...good thing I don't either.

D, Little K, and L have jet-setted for a different climate and country...South America to be exact. Here is where they will be spending the next three and a half months away from home, family, loved ones, and yours truly. But alas, just because they are in a different country doesn't mean that my ears don't stretch that far.

While they are away, the rest of us will just have to make due without their lovely faces. How will we ever survive without them here to entertain us? I'm sure we'll make due with more gossip surounding the ones left behind...I know I will.

Little K and Archemedes sharing a rather lengthy goodbye in the Campus Center of ACU. Whoever said goodbyes weren't easy wasn't kidding. Then again...what's a little distance in the face of possible true love?

Lonely Boy making one last appearance before D took off. And we all thought chivalry was dead? Apparently not as he came just to bid his fair lady goodbye for the long three months. I feel a little urge to shed a tear for the dearly departed lovers.

Now that the three amigas have bid farewell to the U.S. and taken off for another country, what does that leave the rest of us to do in the meantime? Surely we all can't sit around and twiddle our thumbs for three and a half months...

C-Dawg has upcoming trials to put the newbies through in her club, but as for the rest of us? Well, whatever each one chooses to do...you know I'll be there to let you all know what is going on in the lives of the fair and fabulous of Texas.

Scandal!

Hello My Faithful Readers...

Gossip girl here. Ready and more than willing to give you the latest in gossip, scandal, and all that lies in between. (Which we all know is a good bit considering all the gray areas of life) It seems that while I'm away, the little darlings were all at play.

I guess there can be switch-ups without warning in this delightful little social circle. Seems to me that Little K has a new beau in sight...at least that's what my sources tell me. His name is CBass and his game is flirting; heavy flirting if my intuition is correct, which it always is. Does Archemedes know he's got a little competition? A healthy dose of rivalry never hurt anyone, now did it?

If my eyes didn't deceive me, I do believe that I saw D and Little K hitting up the local Starbucks earlier. What were their topics of conversation? Surely it had to have been about Lonely Boy and Archemedes...or was it?

C-Dawg seen taking an afternoon run amidst the sweltering Texas heat. Oh dear, didn't anyone ever tell you that it was bad for you to get overheated? Perhaps she was running to take her mind off her own certain someone who is away?

With the countdown officially on, I'm detecting a twinge of fear in Little K, D and L. Perhaps it's the thought of leaving family behind that scares them. Maybe it's the thought of leaving certain someone(s) behind that has given them pre-trip jitters... Let's just hope that they're bold enough to step out on their own.

With love floating in the air, someone was bound to shoot yours truly out of the sky sometime. Not that any of you will ever know who...but this one has truly swept me off my feet. He's dashing, devilishly good looking, and undeniably sweet. Where it will go...only time will know.

A Bittersweet Goodbye

Hello My Faithful Readers...

Gossip Girl here yet again. It seems that our little darlings have been busy while I was getting ready to start the new school year.

Little K and Archemedes seem to be getting closer each time they are together. I wonder what this will mean when Little K takes off for a whole new world? But you can bet your bottom dollar that I will be there to dish all of the details from their desperate lonliness to their chat exchanges on the internet. Let's hope that this will last.

Even D seems to be making progress in the department of Lonely Boy. But is this a lost cause with her leaving in just a few short days? Can the romance be kept kindled during the months she is gone? We will definitely see come winter when D jet sets back to the land of milk and honey known as Texas.

Little K and D at their "Bon Voyage" party, hitting it up with Archemedes and Lonely Boy respectfully. I wonder what sweet little nothings were exchanged between these young, budding lovers? I can sure tell you that it wasn't just utterings of goodbyes. By the look on their faces, it was something much more.

L seems to be MIA lately. Perhaps she is doing some last minute packing to leave the country? Who knows? Better hurry up girl because your plane is leavin' in just two short days.

With the world beginning to spin quicker, things just seem to keep on happening even when we don't want them to. Of course, this makes my job all the more fun to watch the little ones scurry about to pick up the aftermath.

However, all is fun in love and war...or so they say. Love is a battlefield, so you better go and get your armor ladies. All I know is that there is one person who has caught my eye. But you'll never know who that person is...

Back To School...Back For Gossip

Hello My Faithful Readers...

Gossip Girl here again...ready to dish on the latest scandals and upcoming events in the lives of our very own dear ones.

D, Little K, and L are getting ready to abandon ship to venture down south to a new country and some new experiences. But, what will this mean for Lonely Boy and Archemedes? I wonder if the time away from their lovely belles will make them step up and be men? It sure will make for an interesting semester.

While the cats are away...the mice will play. But I say that these little rodents aren't going to go very far.

Little K all around the campus of ACU, running around and making sure that activities ran smoothly. Seems like she is a busy girl all around this time of year.

D also spotted near and around Lonely Boy's house. Since his return home from his own travels, the two have been near inseparable. I wonder how these love birds will fare in the near future when D leaves?

I dare say that love is in the air for several of our lovely ladies. Just within the last few weeks, S was engaged to her long-time beau. And then D was reunited with Lonely Boy after a long separation.

I think that our beloved circle is growing with all these new additions and budding romances. I will be certain to keep a close eye on things while they continue to bloom or fizzle.
