Sources say that this summer has been heating up all along and I've been privvy to all the juicy details revolving around the summer romances, hook ups, break ups, and all that lies in between!! I'm excited to share this with you.

Honey B, D, Little K, L, Redbeard, and Belle all seen chilling at the house recently. A Christmas themed movie was watched, even though it's technically July. But hey, Christmas in July...so there you go! Although Little K did spend her time texting a certain someone...

Honey B heading to the big D...Dallas that is! Our little honey went to the place where all the freaks and Little Monsters came out in full force! The Monster Ball! Lady Gaga puts on one hell of a show...or so I'm told.

Summer Eclipse

Hello My Faithful Readers...

Gossip Girl at your service, taking names and giving out all the latest gossip that you want and demand. You've indicated your interest, I'm educated in gossip, yes.

Seems as though things are just heating up here in the great state of Texas. And by heat, I don't mean to sweltering temperatures that keep on rising into the triple digets. Summer romances are always the steamiest and there is definitely one going on this year for sure! I'm enticed by all the gossip that is sure to follow...

Spotted!

Honey B and D spending some much needed friend time together. Many topics were discussed, but one that wasn't was the topic of boys...hm. I wonder if D is really finally over Lonely Boy. If so, then I applaud her for finally ditching the spineless wimp. I don't make apologies for guys who can't grow a pair.

Little K is off to the land of maple leaves and hockey to vacation with her family, leaving the boyfriend behind. I think she's quite into him. Total eclipse of the heart? Not quite sure yet, but I'll keep you posted. Sources say he's a real looker though. I myself think he's quite like another attractive male everyone's attention has floated to in the last two years...a certain werewolf. But, that could just be a little biased of me...

L was also seen a few weeks previously hanging out with Redbeard. The two were seen picking up a movie at a local rental store. Hmm...I still wonder about that relationship sometimes and if there's something else there that we aren't seeing...

In celebration of this festive weekend where we look back upon this country's independence, I'd just like to take the opportunity to thank all those who have served our country in the past and those who continue to do so in the present. Say a prayer for those men and women who are sacrificing their freedoms to fight overseas to protect your own. Honey B's own younger brother is one of the many who has answered the call of duty to his country. Be thankful for those like him.

Little K making her trek home from the faraway land of Guatemala, but she isn't returning alone this time. That's right ladies and gents, our very own Little K is no longer on the single market! Reports have said that she is officially taken by none other than one of her fellow missionary friends that came along on the trip!

There hasn't been hide nor hair of D or L seen lately. Hmm wonder why that is? Guess they're just too busy.

Honey B recently seen out and about with her two younger brothers. Some heated discussion occurred and apparently didn't go over so well as Honey B had to mediate, which was unsuccessful.

Making It Count

Hello My Faithful Readers...

That is, if I still have any out there! I know that these posts have come few and far between as of late, but I have legitimate excuses that I don't need to share with you. So, if you're faithful, then keep on reading...

It seems as though these summer days are rolling on by without much ado to twitter about. (I say twitter, you say gossip...means all the same in the end) Things have gone splendidly boring to say the least...blah. You guys need to liven up!

D and L making the move to their official new home where Little K and Belle will officially join them in the coming weeks as August nears and *gasp* the dreaded start of school. But, let's not think about that while we don't have to, shall we?

Honey B grieving the sad loss of a beloved family member in recent weeks. The phrase "Gone, but not forgotten" comes to mind. Word has it that a commemorational piece of body art might be in the works for Honey B and her brothers and cousins.

There is only so much time that we're given and most often times, we waste it through frivolous things or on people that don't care. We leave out those who are most important to us or forget. I'm here to say to use your time on this earth wisely. Spend it with those you love and who love you most, not on those who would waste your time.

We're not always promised the gift of tomorrow, which is why you must live for today. Each day is a gift, which is why it's called the present. The past is there to remind us that we have lived and the future is to remain a mystery; something we can think about, but must not dwell on too long. Live for the now.

End of an Era...Beginning of Another...

Hello My Faithful Readers...

Gossip Girl again. It's been a while, hasn't it? Well, even Gossip Girl needs time away sometimes. I've been on a vacation of my own, but that doesn't mean I don't know everything that goes on while I'm away.

School is out! Meaning the books are shut, the papers are flying, graduation is done, and summer is officially in session! It seems as though this summer will be one of the most interesting ones yet. At least, that's what I believe...

Little K, D, Lola (officially being rechristened as Honey B), Belle, Tarzan, and Tator were all seen piling into the backs of two trucks and getting quite cozy at the drive-in movie the other night. You know what they say...leave room for Jesus!

Honey B heading home for a long weekend with the family, coming home with more than just homemade goodies. Aww B, get better soon...we don't like to see you sick!

D, L, Little K, and Belle moved out of their apartment and to their separate homes, just for a little while though. Seems as though they'll be living together again soon, after Little K gets back in the country of course.

Nearing The End!!

Hello My Faithful Readers...

Gossip Girl here. Once again, here and willing to dish all the best (and worst) of the lives of the girls of Abilene. I know that I've been absent as of late, but I don't need to make an excuse for you all. You love me anyways!

2 and a half weeks. That is all that is left in the semester from hell. Sources say that this semester has been one of the hardest yet in the lives of our young friends. Chin up, stiffen your upper lip, and trudge on through. It'll all be worth it in the end right?

Seems as though L has made some new and interesting changes...mainly adding to the body art she has already started! I heard that the newest addition is lovely and perfect for L. Congrats dear. Gotta love that permanent artwork.

Little K has fallen off planet social life...studying for her dreaded MCATS which are rumored to be this weekend. Good luck future Dr. K. You'll need lots of coffee, provisions, and food to supply you...STAT.

D was seen going out to a formal event with Seattle recently...now she's already had the "define the relationship" conversation with him before, now hasn't she? Maybe the boy is more determined than we originally thought. Who knows? Maybe he'll woo her yet...

As the end of the school year nears, people keep wondering what the plans are for this blog over the summer. I intend to keep it. You never know what might pop up...summer romances are always a big hit. At least that's what I've been told. Now don't go plotting off a life from a Nicholas Sparks novel...we don't need any more of those in real life.

Take it from me, your friendly neighborhood columnist, summer romances don't last. The rays of sunshine will fade and things will definitely be different by the end. Better to be happy than broken-hearted.

Baby Could You Blow My Heart Up

Hello My Faithful Readers...

Gossip Girl here. Your one and only source into the scandalous lives of the girls of the upper north side. And let me just say that life has been dull as of late...do you people never get out? At this rate, I'll have to delve into the Hollywood gossip circle and we definitely don't want that!

We are on the official countdown...five weeks left of class and one week of Hell, known as Finals, stands between our girls and their summer vacations. Let's just hope that they can make it through these final days without going crazy...or if they do, that I'm the first to know! *wink*

Lola has seemed to have dropped off the social radar entirely...wonder what's going on there? Maybe there's something there that we're not seeing. I have an inkling that it's a little more than just school that's got her down.

D and L turning the big 2-1 this weekend, as in 21-years-old. Legal drinking age. Congratulations on making it this far. Party hard. Live without regrets. You never know what might happen in the future, so live each day like it's your last.

As we near the end of the school year, there are a few things that I would like to cover that I feel are important:
1. Don't steal people's tickets. It's lame and makes you look like a pathetic loser.
2. Words to live by: Just dance. It'll be okay.
3. Never ever, under any circumstances, date anyone because you feel sorry for them or they guilt trip you. It's a pity ploy used by them to trap you.
4. Maturity counts. Make sure he has it or you'll regret it.
5. Watch the "Bad Romance" video. It will blow your mind.

Everything Changes

Hello My Faithful Readers...

Gossip Girl here again. And my has it been one dull week of gossip...at least where I'm concerned. This past week is what's known to college kids as Spring Break, where everyone scatters to the four winds for some sort of vacation...or so I'm told.

On the mild end of things, it seems romances have seemed to fizzle out for everyone lately. Valentine's Day was a flop this year. There's always next year girls. Love is a fickle thing anyways...no need to force it when there isn't anything there. Love is patient. Love is kind. Love is slowly losing your mind. I think I'll keep mine thanks.

Lola making a trek homeward for the week with little bro in tow. Good times were shared and she even got to see the little godbaby that has stolen her heart. Precious! Babies are so innocent, so I can't find anything wrong with it. However, she did take a side trip to see another friend later in the week.

Little K and D supposedly went camping but not much else is known in the way of details. Guess it was all the squirrels, raccoons, and bugs that knew everything. Oh well.

Something tells me that this is the beginning of something crucial for these girls. Life isn't turning out how some of them want it to be. Things are getting difficult and there have been a lot of tears shed recently. Decisions are being made that will shape the rest of people's lives now...and these aren't going to be taken lightly.

Needless to say...life isn't easy. It never is. But remember these wise words: It'll all be okay in the end and if it's not okay, it's not the end.

Hello My Faithful Readers...

Gossip Girl here, after a rather extended holiday on my part. My attention was needed elsewhere in the world where all the beautiful people are...known as Hollywood. Los Angeles was quite the buzzing metropolis of gossip if I do say so myself, but I'm more of a small-town girl myself, so here I am again!

It seems as though while I was away, time has flown by and the mice have all played. Seems as though I have to get right down to business and get to the dirty work of updating everyone on the fabulous and scandalous lives of Abilene's Upper North Side. I take my work with pride.

Seems as though all of our girls have been rather busy this semester, bustling around with different activities to keep up with. L is working again at her former job, but no further information is known at the time of this posting. Guess I'll have to keep a closer eye on this one...she's sneaky.

Lola spending a lot of time in and out of the library recently. Something tells me that she's getting to that point in the semester when all of her projects are due...either that or she really loves to read. Lame.

Little K seen spending a lot of time at her place recently, studying away. Word has it that she'll be taking a very important test next month, known as the MCAT. This test will springboard her into the next phase of her life...medical school! How exciting this must be!! Chin up Little K. We all believe in you.

I'm no genius by any means, but something tells me that in these times, there is a great amount of stress going around. With tests, projects, family, friends, and all other things weighing on your hearts, there has to be a certain amount of stress that you're all feeling. Believe me, if you let it build...it will eventually explode on you. And even though that would make for some juicy gossip on my end, let's avoid the bloody mess it would be to clean up, shall we?

Hello My Faithful Readers...

Gossip Girl here, ready to dish once more on the lives of the infamous girls of Abilene's upper North Side. And I must say...you're in for a treat this go round!

Seems like life is settling down for our girls as they get into the routine of school, work, and play once again. Things are heating up as the weather continues to stay cool though, with many a new faces in the group that continues to grow as each day passes. Some of these new faces will come and go, but which ones will continue to stick? It should be an interesting run nonetheless while they last and outlast each other in this little circle.

Lola going on a brand new adventure of her own recently...called a blind date. Sources say she was set up by a mutual friend with said suitor and that the date was amiable. However, his charm and sweet nature is what seems to be winning her over at the moment. Will this budding friendship bloom into something more in the future? Or will it forever remain just a seed of friendship?

Little K, D, L, Lola, Red Beard, and Tarzan were all seen hanging out recently, along with some other new faces. Laughter was shared and snide comments were made, so a good time was seemed to be had all around.

Poor D seems to be the center of attention from someone she clearly isn't interested in...Seattle that is. He seems to have taken a keen interest in D since the departure of Lonely Boy with another woman. Tsk tsk tsk, doesn't he get the awkwardness of the situation since Lonely Boy is one of his housemates?

It also seems that our girls have become quite the center of attention lately...with gatherings almost daily at their abode. Not to mention the countless people across campus that seem to know all of them. Seems that the circle is broadening with every day that passes. I'll have to keep my eyes on more than just this little group from now on...

Hello My Faithful Readers...

Gossip Girl back once again, after a long winter's nap during the holidays. Needless to say there is much to catch up on, but you know as well as I that I am more than up to the task of giving you what you want...which is all the latest gossip.

Christmas is over, the New Year has been rung in, but what does that mean for all of our dearest friends? It certainly means a new start with a new slate. But that doesn't neccessarily mean we forget the wrongs of the past. And that certainly doesn't mean we forget how stupid men are...more or less just one at the moment. The votes are in and the results show that Lonely Boy is the stupidest male of the year. But hey, don't shoot the messenger if you can't take the heat.

Lola seems to have disappeared from the radar recently. Many have said that she has some personal issues going on, but I won't divulge until I know all the details. One thing's for sure, she definitely hasn't had a happy new year thus far.
